Mary Cipolla draws inspiration from the story of the Saint to talk about today's women.

We are all Rosalia, not just those who bear her name.
We are all Rosalia when we choose to give up the easiest path, comforts, and wealth for a higher ideal, when we find the strength to pursue our desires, to be ourselves beyond what others would impose on us, beyond what is expected of us.
It is no coincidence that Saint Rosalia, along with Saint Rita, protects the unhappily married.

The show features a variety of female characters who highlight the tragicomic side of their existence, offering a humor that, in a Pirandellian manner, makes you laugh and think.

Counterpoints are provided by moments when multi-instrumentalist Michele Piccione, an expert in traditional Sicilian and Mediterranean music, enchants the audience with his virtuoso solos.
