The four saints of the Teatro del Sole observe from above the diverse humanity that, like them, awaits the passage of the Great Patroness.
In a fantasy language that evokes the sounds, intonations, and cadences of the dialect, they debate the past, legends and mysteries, truths and illusions, about being women and now being venerated women because they are saints, sacred and inviolable.
Four saints plus one, that Santuzza who did not yield to the choices of men and chose her own life, who now, from the height of their grace, exhort responsibility, steadfastness, and humanity.
