THE COMPANY

Coccadoro is an entirely female-led project by the social cooperative Aranceamare. It is a brand of handcrafted fashion accessories, designed and made entirely in Sicily. The company uses raw materials that are either stock residues or waste from the production chain, creating limited edition collections of bags and jewelry. This practice has allowed the company to embark on a certification path for the sustainability of some products. Another foundational value of the company is solidarity: Coccadoro has always supported social and anti-mafia projects. Thanks to participation in B2B trade fairs, Coccadoro has diversified and expanded its sales channels, complementing online sales with a network of national and international retailers.

COCCADORO FOR THE FESTINO: "ROSA D’AMORE" PROJECT

There is a strong bond between the people of Palermo and the city's patron saint, Santa Rosalia. This powerful inner identity goes beyond religious faith, embodying a secular mysticism that is both popular and aristocratic, and profoundly cross-sectional, based on an unreasonable and unconditional love. This sense of belonging is expressed by owning and wearing symbols associated with the Saint. The most emblematic of these is undoubtedly the flower that most represents her and is intimately linked to her name: the rose.

In line with our brand's aim (Coccadoro_scarti d'autore), we offer our ROSA D’AMORE as a tribute to Santuzza. This textile jewelry, available as a brooch and/or pendant, is made using scraps from our internal textile processing and recycled fragments and remnants, making it a product with a high degree of environmental sustainability. Those who wear a ROSA D’AMORE by Coccadoro, with its contemporary language and style, become proud ambassadors of a creative, proactive city that is proud of its roots.
