From the tale of Saint Rosalia: The territories recount their Patron Saints

A journey into the world of Saint Rosalia, exploring her stories, legends, and her profound significance to Sicily.
Starting from Palermo, the journey intertwines with the municipality of Monreale in the province of Palermo, and Acquedolci, Frazzanò, Mirto, Tortorici in the province of Messina, and Caltagirone in the province of Catania.
An evocative program, in which the stories surrounding the Patron Saints, Saint Rosalia, Saint Benedict the Moor, Saint Sebastian Martyr, and Saint James, iconic figures representing the identity and devotion of the local communities, will be narrated in the Reading Circles of Illustramente in Palermo, Monreale, Acquedolci, Frazzanò, Tortorici, and Caltagirone.
Additionally, there will be meetings, read-aloud sessions, workshops, and seminars at the University of Palermo and the Skenè Cultural Center at the Cantieri Culturali alla Zisa.
